review: Loved the peaceful surroundings and spacious room with a large balcony, though the shower could be a bit cramped for taller guests. Enjoyed the friendly staff and the convenient laundry facilities. Beautiful views of local wildlife from the balcony added to the overall charm of the stay. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-05-15}

Tidy and beautifully designed place, has lovely views on to a scrappy garden and utilities. The location is marvellous and beautiful, 2 km from St Columba Waterfall. Need to remember that it's a short walk to downtown.

In my case they offered Wheelchair Accessible room with nice views as well as the balcony and that was great. An attached restaurant was excellent for dinner.

It made it impossible to relax or get any decent sleep during our stay. Such a bummer!

I appreciated super-friendly and accommodating employees!
Location: the hotel was near to a working man's pub rather than a resort by the sea and Tasmania where word of mouth carries a lot of weight in terms of accommodation and restaurant bookings and the bakery around the corner. I tried quick meals at Majors Munchies, within 700 feet of the property. It was a really nice stay by one night, would recomand this place.

The location is perfect, right by the waterfront and close to fine spots like Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, which made for a comfy stay. Plus, the staff were super friendly and helpful, adding to the cute vibe. Oh, and the bar and restaurant were cozy-perfect for winding down after a day of exploring!
We did have a rough experience with the dining. Just a heads up, you might want to explore other dining options nearby. it’s still a great place to stay, but maybe skip the restaurant!

The panorama is a beautiful hotel right by the waterfront. The alfresco dining area offers great vibes, especially with a glass of tassie wine while watching the sunset. The seasonal pool and complimentary bicycles make it a fun spot for solo travelers.

Great Experience at Panorama Hotel St Helens
During my recent business trip, my director chose the Panorama Hotel St Helens, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The hotel offered a peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to unwind after long meetings. One of my favorite features was the seasonal outdoor pool, a perfect spot to relax and recharge. I also appreciated having complimentary bicycles available; exploring the nearby area was a good way to break up my work schedule. The staff was accommodating and professional from start to finish. I felt welcomed and refreshed, making this stay a nice experience.

Very thin walls create frustrating noise issues!!! Shower cubicle ridiculously tiny for a relaxing experience!!! Groundskeeping lacking attention to detail!!! Clearer signage needed to help navigate the hotel!!!

The views from the deck were fine, especially while enjoying breakfast. The water view from my Twin Room was a highlight. Staff members were friendly and accommodating, their willingness to help. The cleanliness of the room and hotel stood out, too. The room felt dated and in need of updating. The beds could use some attention. They lacked comfort for a restful night. Although the hallways had a fresh coat of paint, the room quality didn't quite match that level of upkeep. The dining options could use a bit more creativity. The menu felt somewhat typical and uninspired.
